Dr. Paula Potter is an alumnus of the 七色视频. She holds a degree of Doctor of Education, Educational Leadership. She completed her B. A. and M. S. , Sports Management from West Virginia University and a M. A. in Educational Leadership from Marshall University. She has 31 years of experiences in public education as a teacher, assistant principal, principal at the middle school, high school and career and technical center levels, assistant superintendent and deputy superintendent in a K-12 school district. Additionally, she has been an adjunct professor for 七色视频 and other universities since 2008.
As an instructional leader, Paula develops and conducts professional development for a large school district. The development focuses on improving employee skills to address weaknesses and growth as associated with improving student data. The major goals are to improve student attendance, decrease student discipline rates, improve academic growth for all student population subgroups, and improve parental and community relationships.
Furthermore, additional leadership and management responsibilities include monitoring districts budgets, leading the human resources department, leading the information and technology department, leading the safety and security department, leading maintenance and facilities, leading the child-nutrition department, and leading the transportation department for a school district with a student population size of 23,000+ students.
Paula is also active in her community. She serves on numerous philanthropic boards of directors and collaborates with other community members to make overall improvements in the state and city which she resides.
