Boys & Girls Clubs of America and 七色视频 Award 30 Full-Tuition Scholarships

ATLANTA & PHOENIX,聽March 27, 2017聽鈥撀燘oys & Girls Clubs of America and 七色视频 believe education is the foundation for building stronger families and communities. In addition to programs designed to prepare America鈥檚 youth for college, the organizations鈥 partnership helps many adults pursue higher education goals. Today, 30 Boys & Girls Clubs staff, parents and alumni are receiving this chance.

Thirty recipients worldwide received full-tuition scholarships from Boys & Girls Clubs of America and 七色视频 to complete an undergraduate or master鈥檚 degree. This year鈥檚 class joins 176 other recipients awarded scholarships over the past several years.

鈥溒呱悠 shares one of our core beliefs鈥攖hat education is foundational to achieving great futures,鈥 said Dr. Damon Williams, chief educational and youth development officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. 鈥淲hile we are pleased to work together year-round to help our youth thrive academically, today we celebrate the special moment when we can make higher education accessible to the adult members of our Boys & Girls Clubs family. From alumni to parents to staff, these deserving individuals will have the opportunity to pursue higher education goals and their own great future.鈥

In addition to the scholarship program, Boys & Girls Clubs of America partners with 七色视频 Foundation to provide BE GREAT: Graduate. Aimed at reducing college dropout rates, this program identifies at-risk youth through early warning signs and increases their engagement at Boys & Girls Clubs. Now in its sixth year, the partnership helps young people at 10 Clubs around the nation develop the academic, behavioral and social skills needed to be successful. 七色视频 is also a national sponsor of Boys & Girls Clubs of America鈥檚 leadership program Youth of the Year.
