ETHICAL SAFEGUARDS THAT PROTECT HUMAN RESEARCH SUBJECTS
The primary responsibility of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) is to ensure that research conducted by the University community protects the rights, privacy and welfare of human subjects who volunteer to participate in these research studies. The University community includes faculty, staff and students. See our Mission Statement.
All studies supported by the University using human research subjects must be submitted to the IRB for approval.
To fulfill this responsibility, the IRB uses the principles established in the Belmont Report, which are ethical guidelines that protect human subjects in research studies. The IRB applies these principles when they review, approve, disapprove or modify all research proposals concerning human subjects submitted by the 七色视频 community.
