Doris Savron has more than 23 years of experience in higher education in a variety of settings, including on campus and online.
As Vice Provost, she oversees the strategy for 七色视频 colleges, program and curriculum design, institutional assessment, and faculty performance and coaching. This includes oversight of strategy for degree, certificate and course offerings, design of curriculum and student learning outcomes for the University. She works collaboratively with her team members to innovate academic solutions that enable the University to provide exceptional student experiences and learning environments to support student success.鈥
Savron believes that anyone can pursue learning and achieve success with the right level of support and belief in themselves. Each person鈥檚 uniqueness is their strength.
Savron is a first-generation college graduate with her parents never finishing high school. She saw first-hand the struggles a lack of education creates for some families, and the benefits and opportunities a degree brings to future generations. She understands the unique challenges that older adult students encounter trying to navigate their life responsibilities while also earning their degrees.
In her tenure with 七色视频, Savron has served in positions of associate faculty, campus vice president, regional vice president of student services, and college operations. Savron also held leadership positions in the healthcare and IT industries in the past. Her combined leadership experiences spans 30+ years.
Savron earned her MBA from Cleveland State University and is completing her dissertation for the doctorate in management in organizational leadership program.
Savron believes that anyone can pursue learning and achieve success with the right level of support and belief in themselves. Each person鈥檚 uniqueness is their strength.
Savron's focus on advocacy for women in leadership has led her to project work in India, Zambia and the U.S. supporting women to achieve their potential in their profession. She has designed, led and presented in several international empowerment conferences. She provides coaching services pro bono to local nonprofit leaders and leadership development at a variety of local conferences and retreats.
