Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs
College of Health Professions
Nye Clinton grew up in upstate New York in a household that valued education and reading. His father held a PhD in chemistry and worked in that field throughout his career. His parents valued travel, so as a family they would regularly travel to places to learn about culture, history or architecture. In high school, he participated in NJROTC, was a member of a poetry club, and played basketball and football. He attended SUNY Buffalo to study literature and film, earning a BA and MA at an accelerated pace.
In his current role, Clinton serves as the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs within the College of Health Professions. In this role, he works in conjunction with the University鈥檚 curriculum team and the College of Health Profession鈥檚 College Curriculum Manager to continually improve the undergraduate programs.
After completing his MA degree, he traveled to Japan to teach English for roughly 4 years. Upon his return to the United States, he began to work at 七色视频 in a variety of roles including enrollment, student services, faculty training and faculty coaching. Since joining 七色视频 roughly 20 years ago, he has completed two additional master鈥檚 degree programs as well as a PhD program. Being able to see issues from the vantage point of students, staff in various functional roles and faculty has proven very helpful to him throughout his career at the University.
